If you have any land that is suitable for building and has passed a perk test you would like to donate to Habitat or sell at cost, please contact the Executive Director at director@wataugahabitat.org

Ways to Give:

Carpenter's Club- Through the Carpenter's Club you can pledge to donate a certain amount of money at the completion of each home. The money will then go towards funding the next house.

House Sponsorship- You can donate the funds and volunteer labor for a Habitat home. The average Habitat home costs around $80,000 in Watauga County. Churches, local business, and civic groups can partner together or fund individually. Please contact Habitat for ideas.

Wills and Estates- Remember Habitat in your will. Learn more about your Planned Giving options here.

Matching Gift Program- If your company participates in a matching gift program, you can designate your donation to go to Habitat.

Holiday-Honorary Giving-You can make a donation in a loved one's name for a holiday or special occasion. We will send them a card informing them of your gift in their name. Send us your request today. (link to Gifts from the Heart form)

NEW: Watauga Habitat welcomes donations of new materials only for building habitat homes. Items used by Habitat are listed below. If you have new materials to donate, please contact the Executive Director at director@wataugahabitat.org or 828-268-9545. Donations may be tax deductible.

Our Habitat ReStore does accept good used (and new!) building materials, furniture and appliances for resale to the general public.

If you are remodeling or building there are many items that can make your project more affordable at the Habitat ReStore. Call the ReStore at 828-268-9696 to find out if they can use your items or to schedule a pick-up of large items.
